Vanesse Lloyd-Sgambati is the CEO of The Literary Media and Publishing Consultants, a PR firm that specializes in publishing, especially in the African American literary marketplace.  For over twenty-four years the firm has served as literary consultant to authors, publishers, schools, libraries and corporate entities. With The Literary Café, Lloyd-Sgambati has produced events for dozens of bestselling writers from Cornel West to Al Green to Michael Eric Dyson. She is also founder/director of the African American Children’s Book Project, formed to preserve children’s literature written by or about African Americans. She has worked in print, radio and television, including The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Food Network and many national pilots, and is currently a cultural contributor on a number of radio programs.
